A Cattle Egret dropped on the north shore for around 10 minutes this afternoon was the first of the year, also 3 Great Egret and 1 Little Egret were present. A juvenile Marsh Harrier was hunting the north shore late afternoon. The Lesser Scaup remains off the dam, also 2 Garganey and 5 Pintail were counted. 8 Ringed Plover, 2 LRP , 2 Dunlin and 4 Common Sandpiper were on the north shore. A juvenile Whinchat was at the west end. A Spotted Flycatcher was by the Gazebo hide, also 1 Lesser Whitethroat, 1 Whitethroat and a Willow Warbler were noted.
