The Lesser Scaup remains off the dam, also 3 Garganey, 4 Pintail and 24 Wigeon were counted. Also a drake Tufted x Scaup hybrid (photo) was at the west end. The 1st winter Med Gull was again present this afternoon. 2 Great Egret and a Little Egret were noted. 8 Ringed Plover, 3 Common Sandpiper and 70 Lapwing were counted. This mornings ringing session produced 32 Chiffchaff, 19 Blackcap, 2 Reed Warbler, 1 Sedge Warbler, 1 Kingfisher.
