BELVIDE 21.4.25 Rain ESE 1-2

Another excellent days birding with another day of rain and light easterly wind dropping birds out of the sky. A total of 15 Arctic Tern thru today, with 2 at 6.10am, then another 13 between 10.30-11.50am. A new adult Little Gull was present from dawn and flew off with the Arctic Terns late morning. 8 Bar-tailed Godwit passed thru, with a single bird between 6am-7.58am, then another 7 flew thru north at 12.15pm. 5 Whimbrel passed thru over the day. The Wood Sandpiper was still present, also 3 Greenshank, 3 Dunlin, 1 Common Sandpiper, 3 Ringed Plover, 10 LRP and a Curlew were present. The first Swift of the year flew thru this afternoon. 3 Garden Warbler were singing. 5 Yellow Wagtail were on the north shore. 2 Great Egret and 3 Little Egret were present. 1 Goldeneye and 1 Wigeon remain.An adult female Goshawk was soaring this afternoon.
