The blustery conditions with rain made for some better birding today. A Turnstone on the north shore was the first of the year. An adult Wood Sandpiper was in front of the Hawkshutts hide , also 1 Green Sandpiper, 9 Common Sandpiper and 22 LRP were present. An adult female Garganey along the south west shore was a new arrival. 1 Great Egret and 6 Little Egret were noted.
