News received today included the Black-necked Grebe still. 1 Dunlin, 20 Snipe and 4 Ringed Plover were present, also 60 Golden Plover flew over. The drake Goldeneye remains and109 Wigeon were counted. 14 Great Egret were noted.
Day 7 on Shetland was another hard slog, but we did find Yellow-browed Warblers at Kergoord, Beeston and Wadbister. We called back to Asta Loch late afternoon , where we had some great views of the Siberian Thrush as it fed on the ground in the garden on the opposite side of the road.
