BELVIDE Cloudy WSW 2

At 4.30pm, an impressive flock of 32 Ruff flew in. They circled the reservoir several times before landing briefly on the north shore. Unfortunately a gas gun went off, flushing the birds, where they departed north at 4.40pm. This is a record total for Belvide, beating the previous best of 30 on 15th April 1987. 5 LRP were on the north shore. 51 Goldeneye, 14 Wigeon, 53 Shoveler, 73 Teal and 3 Shelduck were counted.
