A Short-eared Owl at the west end this evening was new for the year. 18 Ringed Plover and 2 Dunlin were present , also 5 Snipe flew over. A juvenile female Goshawk was soaring over the dam, also 3 Red Kite and 2 Peregrine were noted. 11 Pintail and 303 Tufted Duck were counted. 5 Great Egret were on the north shore.
