BELVIDE 13.4.24 Cloudy SW 2-3

 The main highlight today were 2 1st summer Spoonbill that dropped on the south west shore at 10.45am. They were present until 11.27am when they flew off north. It becomes the 14th record for the reserve, that has become an annual visitor in recent years. An imm male Goshawk was seen a couple of times this morning, also a Red Kite and Peregrine were present. 3 Ring-necked Parakeet flew south at 8.09am. 10 Common Sandpiper were still present, also 6 LRP and 60 Golden Plover were in flight east of the dam. A female Wheatear was off the west track, also 8 Sedge Warbler and 3 Reed Warbler were present. A male and female Brambling were at the Gazebo feeders. A drake Mandarin was at the west end.
