A drake Garganey at the west end was the first of the year, also the drake Scaup was still present off the dam. An Arctic Tern (photo) was present this afternoon with 2 birds seen by others this morning. 14 Redshank remain on the north shore, also 1 Common Sandpiper and a Ringed Plover was reported this morning. 8 Swift were noted. A Goshawk was seen this afternoon.
