A very wet day with constant rain throughout the day. 2 Osprey flew thru today with one grounded briefly by the rain before continuing north.8 Sanderling, 12 Dunlin and 10 Ringed Plover flew thru over the day. An Arctic Tern flew thru at 11.30am, also 3 Common Tern were present. The drake Garganey remains at the west end. There were at least 1500 Swift today, also 300 House Martin and 150 Swallow.
