The juvenile Pectoral Sandpiper remains along the south east bay either viewable from the Chappell or Scott hides. 12 Ringed Plover, 1 LRP, 1 Dunlin, 7 Common Sandpiper and 5 Snipe were present. A Great Egret was at the west end all day. The Lesser Scaup remains off the dam, also 1 Garganey was at the west end. The north easterly wind brought an arrival of 13 Pintail over the day, also 10 Wigeon, 221 Shoveler, 87 Gadwall, 1 Mandarin, 2 Goosander and 507 Greylag Geese were counted. A Swift flew thru this morning. A White Wagtail (photo) was with 40 Pied Wagtail at the west end. 2 Hobby were noted.
