The first Woodcock of the year was flushed between the 2 bridges this morning. 46 Pintail, 146 Wigeon, 105 Teal, 84 Shoveler, 235 Tufted Duck, 22 Pochard, 11 GC Grebe and 2 Little Grebe were counted. 2 Great Egret and 2 Little Egret were on the north shore. A Chiffchaff was by the ringing station. 2 Goshawk and 3 Red Kite were in the area. 7 Oystercatcher and 18 Snipe were noted.
