BELVIDE 23.4.25 Overcast ESE 3

 Some overnight rain and an easterly wind saw another day with birds arriving, though not quiet as intense as the weekend. 4 Arctic Tern arrived , with one at 10.10am, being joined by 3 others from 11am. A Black Tern dropped in at 12.35pm, also 4 Common Tern were present. The Wood Sandpiper remains at the west end, also 1 Greenshank, 1 Whimbrel, 2 Dunlin, 1 Ringed Plover, 5 LRP and 5 Black-tailed Godwit flew thru at 12.44pm. A Swift was over the reservoir this morning. A Hobby was hawking over the reservoir this afternoon, also a Red Kite flew over. A Greenland Wheatear was on the north shore this morning, before flying off high north west. 1 Yellow Wagtail and 1 White Wagtail were noted. 2 Great Egret and 1 Little Egret were present. Finally, the 1st summer Caspian Gull dropped in at 4pm, after being absent since the 9th April
