The main highlight today was the presumed return of the drake Lesser Scaup, affectionately known as 'Lenny'. It was well in eclipse plumage, showing in front of the West End Hide. The 2 Garganey were opposite the Gazebo hide. 2 Dunlin and 12 Common Sandpiper were present. A Red Kite and Peregrine flew over. 1 Great Egret and 5 Little Egret were on the north shore. 3 Common Tern were noted.
