A strong blustery wind blew for much of the day but disappointingly, no storm blown waifs were found. The Grey Phalarope was still along the north east corner of the dam. A Black-necked Grebe was a new arrival. 3 Greenshank, 11 Common Sandpiper, 1 Dunlin and 4 Ringed Plover were present. A juvenile Goshawk (photo) showed well over the north wood this morning, also 2 Peregrine, Hobby and 2 Red Kite were noted. 4 Swift flew thru this morning. A Yellow Wagtail was at the west end.
