BELVIDE 27.9.25

 News received today included the Black-necked Grebe still off the dam, also the drake Goldeneye remains. 5 Ringed Plover, 1 Common Sandpiper and 3 Snipe were present. 2 Wheatear and a Stonechat were at the west end. 100 Swallow flew thru this morning. 15 Great Egret and 14 Little Egret were noted.

Day one on Shetland was hard work with a very strong southerly wind blowing. A drake Ring-necked Duck was at Loch Tingwall this morning. A very elusive 1st winter Brown Shrike was on Yell at North Aywick.
