The easterly wind did the trick and dropped 2 adult Russian White-fronted Geese on the north shore. They commuted between there and the field behind the north wood off the A5. The drake Green-winged Teal remains at the west end, also 127 Gadwall, 20 Shoveler ,16 Pochard and 1 Goosander were counted. 4 Little Egret were at the west end. An imm Peregrine was buzzing the wildfowl and Egrets, also a Red Kite was noted. A male Brambling was at the Gazebo feeders. A 2nd winter Caspian Gull (photo) was prersent this morning.
