Not a bad days birding with plenty happening. An Osprey flew thru north at 1pm. The first Greenshank of the year was on the north shore, also 1 Redshank, 1 Black-tailed Godwit, 7 Ringed Plover, 10 LRP, 2 Dunlin, 2 Common Sandpiper and 10 Oystercatcher. The male Brambling was still coming to the car park feeder. At least 80 Sand Martin, 1 House Martin and 6 Swallow were present. The first 3 White Wagtail of the spring were on the north shore plough.
