A Sanderling and Whimbrel on the north shore were new for the year. It also looks like there were probably 3 Bar-tailed Godwit this morning but the 2 observers involved were not sure. Also 1 Dunlin and 1 Redshank were present. The first Hobby of the year flew thru north at 4.34pm. At least 33 Swift were present this afternoon. 2 Wheatear were in the west end paddocks. 2 Little Egret and a Wigeon were noted. 2 Yellow Wagtail were on the north shore.
