A male Whinchat on Hawkshutts ridge was the first of the year, also a pair of Stonechat. 4 Wheatear and 2 Yellow Wagtail were in the west end paddocks. A Cattle Egret dropped on the north shore mid afternoon, also 2 Little Egret. 1 Ringed Plover, 10 LRP and 8 Common Sandpiper were present. At least 4 Red Kite were in the area. 24 Sedge Warbler, 12 Reed Warbler and 5 Garden Warbler were singing. 2 Goldeneye remain.
