BELVIDE Rain E 2

The 1st winter Little Gull was present again early afternoon only. A Rock Pipit was on the north shore this morning. 1 Black-tailed Godwit, 1 Ruff, 3 Dunlin and 1 Ringed Plover were present, though they were all scared off by the pesky Peregrine this afternoon. An adult male Goshawk (photo) flew over. 13 Pintail, 226 Wigeon, 35 Gadwall, 1 Mandarin and 1 Goosander were counted. The 3rd winter Caspian Gull (photo) was present all day. 8 Great Egret were noted.

There was no work on the car park today due to the rain, so expect again very limited spaces tomorrow. Park at Leafields Barns if so.
