The first push of Redwing this morning with 838 heading west in the stiff westerly breeze. The Little Stint was still present, also 3 Grey Plover, 4 Ringed Plover, 6 Dunlin and 2 Oystercatcher were present. 3 Goshawk (photo) were sparring east of the dam this morning, also 2 Red Kite and 2 Peregrine were noted. 5 Stonechat were at the west end. The 1st winter Pink-footed Goose was in front of the Chappell hide. The Linnet flock continues to increase with 438 counted at the west end. 11 Pintail, 103 Wigeon, 197 Shoveler, 151 Teal, 10 Gadwall, 70 Mallard, 5 GC Grebe, 140 Coot, 408 Greylag Geese were counted. 5 Great Egret remain.
